Rang is a home-grown women's wear line with a strong traditional aesthetic, by Rabia Nizami. Focusing on smart cuts and construction, the garments are carefully hand-crafted to meet the needs of the discerning modern woman.
Originally a mom-n-pop store in one of the city's neighbourhood markets, Rang was formerly 'Kashmiriyat', an ode to Rabia's Kashmiri heritage and roots.
Rang's philosophy of wearable Indian clothes draws inspiration from the ideas, forms and the riot of colours found in the Valley. The journey has been as much inward as outward for this indigenous brand of affordable fashion, owning to Rabia Nizami's Sufi leanings and origin. Rang is an exuberant celebration of the soul's union with a higher consciousness.
